Writing Workshops in Greece is excited to offer a new cohort workshop experience developed specifically for Greeks of the diaspora interested in exploring their Greek identity and heritage through writing, community, and the natural and historic beauty of Thasos.
Inviting Stories from the Diaspora is designed for individuals with any level of experience with writing (including none) and of all generations (first, second, third and beyond). Through guided discussions, field trips and writing opportunities, participants will learn storytelling methods for relating their unique journey and relationship to Greece as ancestral homeland, beloved landscape, and cultural touchstone. Are you ready to share your story?
Inviting Stories from the Diaspora gives the gift of time and slowing down, of reflection and connection, of being in Greece with the kind of intention writing asks of us.
Are you ready to share your story? Join us on Thasos in June 2026.
